bwtech's STARTUP Accelerator Showcase 2026

STARTUP Accelerator™ - powered by bwtech@UMBC, Innovation Maryland, and FounderTrac - is a 14-week, intensive program designed to help founders accelerate growth. Through expert mentorship, proven frameworks, and peer collaboration, the program equips startup leaders with the tools they need to build scalable, sustainable businesses.

The STARTUP Showcase commemorates the end of the STARTUP Accelerator Program, when the nine participating entrepreneurs will pitch their businesses to an audience of potential investors and influential industry leaders, with curated introductions and matchmaking.

Now in its second year, the STARTUP Accelerator Program fast-tracks the growth of high-potential tech ventures. Since January 2025, participants have met bi-weekly with facilitators, mentors, and peers to refine their strategies and accelerate their progress. The program focuses on four key drivers of growth—leadership, product, marketing, and finance—helping founders take actionable steps toward scaling and becoming investment-ready.
