Mr. Sameer Ahirrao is CEO at Ardent Privacy, a privacy technology company based in bwtech@UMBC. He is an experienced security leader who brings 22 years of experience in building effective enterprise security programs. Prior to founding Ardent, he worked with large scale enterprises such as Symantec, Deloitte, and Lockheed Martin implementing, engineering, and auditing security and privacy programs. He holds a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from PICT, Pune and holds various security accolades such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, and more. He has served as a subject matter expert for ISC2 and is a frequent speaker at local and international security conferences. Sameer also serves as a co-chair for IAPP Baltimore KnowledgeNet.
Tasha Cornish is the Executive Director of the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Maryland's only organization solely dedicated to the growth of the cybersecurity industry. Bringing together industry, academia, and the public sector, the organization is advancing cybersecurity through advocacy and collaboration. As the Executive Director, she leads CAMI’s implementation of educational programming, community resource development, and cyber career networking opportunities.
