Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (EST)

Description

This one-day course offers a introduction to the foundational principles and hands-on techniques necessary for upstream bioprocessing. The day begins with a lecture on cell banking and cell line development, followed by a practical session on initiating cell culture. After lunch, participants will learn about cell culture maintenance and the critical process of scale-up through a lecture and hands-on session. The course provides a blend of theory and practical skills essential for initiating mammalian cell culture processes.

This foundational training is aimed at building core competency for upstream process associates, cell culture specialists, and bioprocess technicians beginning or transitioning into roles in biopharmaceutical development, vaccine production, or monoclonal antibody manufacturing.
