This educational webinar will focus on quantum solutions, workforce, policy, and applications.
MTC CEO Kelly Schulz will moderate a panel with industry leaders from the following companies: Quantinuum, Qrypt, IonQ, Womanium and Amazon.
The panelists will provide real world stories about commercial applications in use today, software and hardware developments, key target industries, operational programs, national security and protecting the warfighter. There is much excitement about the capability and impact of Quantum computing. The goal of this discussion is to provide a high level overview and level set how to prepare your company for how Quantum may apply to your business.

Trevor Chaloux – Director, Marketing, IonQ Trevor joined IonQ in 2021 and created the product marketing function within IonQ's newly formed product organization. In this role, Trevor is responsible for translating IonQ's technology into products that drive value for customers and are approachable to both quantum experts and organizations just starting their quantum journey. Prior to IonQ, Trevor worked at Google in various roles across the marketing cloud and advertising go-to-market team, where he gained an appreciation for the transformative potential of innovative technology. Trevor is a graduate from the University of Connecticut and lives just outside of Washington, DC in Takoma Park, MD. | |
Dr. Mark Jackson, Senior Quantum Evangelist, Quantinuum Dr. Mark Jackson is the Senior Quantum Evangelist at Quantinuum. He received his B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Duke University and Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Columbia University. He then spent 10 years researching superstring theory and cosmology, co-authoring almost 40 technical articles. He is Adjunct Faculty at Singularity University and a Director of Astronomers Without Borders. | |
Denis Mandich, Co-Founder & CTO, Qrypt As Co-Founder & CTO of Qrypt, Denis drives the technology roadmap and secures the global expertise to achieve the company vision. Denis is also a board member of Quside, advisor to the Quantum Startup Foundry and NSF-funded Mid-Atlantic Region Quantum Internet. Previously, Denis served 20 years in the US Intelligence Community working on singular innovative technology essential to National Security. He speaks native level Croatian and Russian. | |
Prachi Vakharia, Co-Founder, Womanium Prachi is the co-founder of Womanium Foundation, a DC-based foundation that serves to inspire and create the female scientific leaders of tomorrow. WOMANIUM partners with elite US government agencies and national labs and has trained students in computational neuroscience in partnership with the National Institute of Health, the NASA flagship James Webb Space Telescope, atomic clocks, quantum computing in partnership with NIST etc. and given hundreds of scholarships to students from over 88 countries. Beyond her leadership at Womanium, Prachi works in the mobility sector - she recently joined Amazon to lead transportation innovation there. Given her curiosity and love for science and innovation, Prachi also mentors and invests in tech, transport and energy startups. She had 3 successful exits with acquisitions by Daimler AG in 2014. Today, she is an Associate Partner at European investment bank IMPROVED. Additionally, she serves on the Board of the Business Schools at George Mason University and George Washington University. |
