Event Details

Join the Business Continuity Task Force as we hear from Dr. Sebnem Kalemli-Ozcan, Neil Moskowitz Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park, on the current state – and future – of global economics.

The global economy has suffered from several shocks since early 2020. While most parts of the world have yet to observe a full recovery from the pandemic, the recent war has led to soaring energy costs for everyone. We must now ask ourselves some important questions: Are we at cross-roads now that we have to choose between globalization and deglobalization? What does this mean for businesses and policy makers? Higher prices for businesses and/or an opportunity to invest in green energy boom? Will there be regional blocks of trade and finance in the world, who would lose, who would gain?
