Alperian is making the Astro Rack - a portable, affordable, and safe power rack that delivers resistance upwards of 400lbs and weighs less than 50lbs. Using our patent pending resistance mechanism, the Astro Rack can deliver any resistance increment for nearly every weightlifting exercise. The resistance plates are mechanically-powered (no batteries) and output gravity-like resistance in all phases of the exercise. When you finish working out, the Astro Rack folds up into suitcase-sized dimensions for storage or transportation.
