Job Responsibilities (Required):

• Search and synthesize primary scientific literature.
• Communicate literature findings in both written and verbal forms to team members.
• Analyze variants of epitopes/antigens from pathogens at both genetic and 3D macromolecular level.
• Evaluate host molecular response to biological, chemical, and toxin exposure.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.

Required Qualifications (Required)

• Experience summarizing literature or conducting environmental scan/review of literature
• Familiarity with molecular processes involved in medical countermeasures mechanisms of action
• Ability to identify trends, themes, bottlenecks, or key observations from literature reviews and summarize for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• PhD or MS in molecular biology, microbiology, immunology or related field
• Experience with government programs in biodefense and medical countermeasure (small molecules, monoclonal antibodies, and vaccines) development
