Provide Architect and Engineering Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and accountability for a team that is designing, building and running a messaging and collaboration platform utilizing Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, and numerous 3^rd party products and services.
• Architect and enhance a public cloud-based infrastructure that provides mail routing, encryption, security archiving, e-discovery, and migrations.
• Provide technical leadership to the engineering team.
• Collaborate with project manager on resource assignment to accomplish team goals
• Serve as the principal technical contact interacting with the client and partners in developing and enhancing the messaging solution
• Establish project deliverables in coordination with the Client Executive to meet customer objectives
• Drive architecture and security review processes for the messaging platform and other service providers
• Work with client and internal stakeholders to meet operational requirements and resolve issues within the infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to client standards, industry best practices, and alignment with overall technical goals

Review Operational Efficiency

• Provide and implement recommendations to increase operational effectiveness
• Utilize the results of monitoring and environment problems to identify opportunities for increasing service levels and resolving issues
• Identify enhancements and improvements to user functionality

Ensure Modernization and Improvement Initiatives are Met

• Stay abreast of new technology and enhancements that can improve the operations and end-user experiences
• Develop proposals and high-level designs for modernizations and improvements to be presented to the review panels

  Your Knowledge & Expertise

  • College Degree Preferred
  • Google Collaboration Engineer Certified or Administration Certification
  • Microsoft Office 365 certification
  • 10 Years of IT Experience, 5 Years in Messaging Architecture Experience
  • Senior level proficiency in a mail SaaS platform - Google Workspace and Microsoft O365
  • Senior level proficiency with multiple cloud infrastructures, preferably Azure and GCP
  • Senior level proficiency with enterprise network and system design and integration
  • Experience with EXIM mail transfer or similar mail transfer agents
  • Mail routing design, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Senior level proficiency in platform security
  • Experience in complex user data migrations
