The Role

We are looking for a friendly, well organized, and self-driven individual to support our established pipeline of commercial products. The incumbent will work cross-functionally to plan, schedule and coordinate the supply of raw materials and production of finished goods to ensure a steady supply of products available for sale. We are looking for a team-oriented person with excellent time management skills who can take on increasing responsibilities as RoosterBio grows. This individual may also be involved in support of other Warehouse and materials management functions as time permits.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Review sales forecast and open orders to determine product demand and necessary production schedule
  • Create demand and coordinate delivery of raw materials to ensure production schedule is met
  • Utilize ERP system to support planning and scheduling
  • Expedite suppliers purchase orders if required
  • Coordinate between warehouse, purchasing and production to manage material shortages
  • Notify stakeholders of any schedule impacts to product availability
  • Performs other duties as required in support of Warehouse and Materials operations.


Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • B.S. diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3 years production planning experience in a related industry; experience in life sciences or Biopharma manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Prior experience with electronic inventory management and/or ERP systems desirable
  • Good understanding of supply chain principles and inventory planning practices.
  • Good organizational and time management with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient use of spreadsheet, word documents and computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional capacity and independently.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US for other than practical training.


Work Environment:

  • Majority of typical 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM workday is spent in a shipping and receiving area (warehouse).
  • Time may also be spent in meeting with others in an office setting.
  • Conditions in the warehouse can be dangerous; some tasks are physically demanding, requiring periods of lifting, standing, and carrying
