Molecular Biologist, Splice Therapeutics
Splice Therapeutics is creating RNA editing molecules that invade splicing for the treatment of inherited and acquired genetic diseases. The proprietary molecules created by our innovative approaches are delivered by any clinically relevant vector and avoid many of the difficulties associated with other gene editing technologies.
We seek a PhD scientist in molecular biology with at least 3+ years of experience conducting bench-level biotechnology research. The candidate will prepare DNA and RNA libraries, perform high-throughput screens and functionally test selected candidates. Laboratory skills with gene editing, gene therapy, or RNA splicing is a plus.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in joining a stimulating laboratory environment and contributing to our goal of treating genetic diseases. Splice Therapeutics is located in the Germantown Innovation Center, on the campus of Montgomery College, Maryland. Please contact Dr. C. Anthony Altar (email@example.com).
