Junior Support Technician

Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting, Installing, Configuring Equipment, and Software
  • Current Working Knowledge Of Desktops/Laptops - Both hardware and software
  • Repair / Replace hardware on desktops, laptops, servers, and other computerized equipment
  • Entering Support Tickets & Updating Assigned Support Tickets Via Our Ticketing System
  • Occasional Heavy Lifting May Be Required Up To 80 lbs.
  • Various Shop Maintenance Duties
  • Supporting Customers Over The Phone, Performing In-Shop Repairs, Assistance With Special Projects & Onsite Service
  • Occasional soldering

Qualifications:

  • 2 Years of Current & Verifiable Tech Experience
  • Must Have Basic Knowledge Of All Current Windows Operating Systems
  • Must Have Reliable Transportation, Valid State Issued Driver’s License & Insurance 
  • Current Driving Record May Be Requested
  • Knowledge & Current Experience With Disassembling, Troubleshooting & Diagnosing Laptops, Desktops & Other Components For Repair Or Replacement
  • Knowledge Of Printer Troubleshooting & Repair
  • Knowledge Of Desktop/Laptop Hardware
  • Awesome Communication Skills For Responding To Customers Questions, Problems, & Requests To Resolve Issues With the ability To Translate Technology Issues Into Layman’s Terms
  • Must Have Previous & Current Work Experience In Computer Repair & Support Which Should Be Listed On Submitted Resume
  • MUST PROVIDE CURRENT AND VALID REFERENCES WHICH WILL BE CHECKED
  • Familiar With Troubleshooting & Hardware For Printers, Scanners & Various Equipment, As May Be Needed To Go Onsite Various Facilities Or Offices - VA Certified A Plus!
  • Be Able To Comply With Company Procedures
  • Responsible For Completing All Time & Repair Details For Assigned Service Tickets
  • Neat Appearance & Friendly - Will Interact With Customers
  • Kind & Polite Attitude With A Willingness To "go The Extra Mile"
