LOCATION: Remote, US-Based, Occasional on-site visits may be required (occasional travel)

EMPLOYMENT: Full time 40/hr. per week 

WORK AUTHORIZATION: US Citizenship/Green Card

CORE BUSINESS HOURS: 10:00am EST – 4:00pm EST. Additional hours are flexible and may be necessary to fulfill business and program objectives.

OVERVIEW:

The Canton Group has an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our Intelligent Automation Team! This role supports our client engagements as an extension of their Intelligent Automation (IA) Teams in designing and implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using agile methodologies and automation platforms.  

As an IA Business Analyst/Project Manager, you will be a part of The Canton Group’s Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence in working closely with our clients, our internal technical team, and vendors to collectively deliver on the transformation of our client/agency digital experience. You will help support the translation and execution of business requirements into well‐architected solutions that best leverage the UiPath platform. You will be responsible for coordinating and running Canton Group’s IA projects by managing and delivering components of business engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative IA solutions for the organization.

Business Analyst/Project Management

  • Manage projects through the creation of project plans and management of backlogs through Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Help design, document, and maintain system processes
  • Identify scope, benefits, constraints, and risks for RPA automation initiatives, capture, and document current state manual processes
  • Manage automation delivery with industry best practices
  • Effectively execute the project plan (oversight, leadership, coordination, communication, and collaboration)
  • Oversee automation opportunity assessments, estimates, scope development
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into well‐architected solutions that best leverage the automation platform
  • Take business requirements, current and future state process designs and translate them into Process Definition (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD)
  • Ensure requirements are documented, traceable, and testable through to implementation
  • Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project scope (schedule and/or budget)
  • Problem-solving issues that arise in day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required

Administration

  • Track and manage projects to execution, ensuring accuracy in reporting, cost tracking and analysis, metrics analysis and workflows to monitor overall project health
  • Identify, define, and implement Intelligent Automation program standards and procedures for both internal and external facing stakeholders
  • Responsible for planning and managing requirements activities, including updating existing timelines and roadmaps, drafting concept papers and justifications, conducting high-level scope assessments, and identifying/mitigating project risks

Communication/Collaboration

  • Serve as (and enjoy) being the main point-of-contact with clients and their teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs consistent with the architectural vision
  • Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Tech Stack, Product, etc.) to drive strategic initiatives
  • Effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Lead initiatives and partner with IA developers to build, test, deliver, and support designing solutions
  • Be an advocate for Intelligent Automation for both internal/external parties to drive the adoption and communication around IA products and services

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing Business Analysis/Project Management role with experience developing requirements and driving software products
  • A team player that is willing to learn and adapt in a high pace delivery environment
  • Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and management
  • Ability to demonstrate strong collaboration across all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Working knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience/knowledge of a range of technical platforms and solutions
  • Ability to rapidly grasp processes and identify potential IA/RPA solutions
  • Excellent spoken and written communication; assertive and confident raising action points with senior individuals
  • Effective change management experience
  • Experience taking business processes and capturing them with documentation
  • Experience planning, coordinating and sequencing IT delivery tasks
  • Background in the development of documentation such as: concept Papers, progress reports, presentations, meeting agendas, high-level requirement overview documentation, user stories, epics, and customer marketing and training materials
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions, manages workloads, and meets deadlines independently
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results
  • Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience preferred
  • Certification(s) in one or more Robotic Process Automation platforms (e., UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.)UiPath strongly preferred
  • Agile Certifications (e., CSPO, CSMare preferred
  • The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background, education, and employment investigation prior to employment.
  • Work-authorization; US Citizen


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automations (RPA), working with at least one RPA tool (e.g., UiPath – preferred, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the creation of process maps and Process Design Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD)
  • Proven track-record of solid, consistent project delivery around RPA (UiPath preferred)
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and or Application Programming Interface (API) technologies
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JS
  • Proven track record of upselling and delivering RPA solutions with current and future partners
  • Knowledge of licensing and certification requirements around UiPath specifically products, to include licensing, infrastructure, enhanced suite of automation tools


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time
  • May be required to work on-call or long hours if necessary, in case of serious network malfunction.
