Ground-level Executive Business Director for Regional Tourism & Local eCommerce
This is a ground-level opportunity in an ambitious startup that has validated the business model and first commercialization strategies. That means, this is not a salary position at this time. There is minimal compensation in cash at the start. The goal is to determine best fit and then work towards a staged compensation package with cash and equity.
There are paid interns as staff to assist and space to grow. The goals are ecosystem networking, business development, and B2B sales growth – to produce metrics for our next raise. We have generated sales and contract revenue. The CEO/Founder laid groundwork in the region with tourism offices, businesses, and business organizations. The team has conducted extensive development efforts following lean startup methodology. The CEO/Founder leads the commercialization developments with the startups technology in the field of distributed ledger, in terms of incentives.
As a distributed ledger company, additional areas of interest to us with our technology are: payments, digital advertising, climate change, food security, healthcare, and new blockchain technology. We are looking to build the team for GetAwayLocal and LocalCart products. We have completed an Angel round of fundraising. We have a strong social-impact alignment and we've completed lean startup programs and the Bethesda Green Accelerator.
