Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential customers through field visits, building strong relationships, and driving sales of our NGS services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in life sciences and experience with next-generation sequencing.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field visits to potential customers, including research institutions, universities, and biotech companies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through field visits and networking.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored NGS solutions.
  • Nurture leads by maintaining regular contact and providing relevant information about our services.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing their needs, budget, and timeline to ensure a good fit with our offerings.
  • Follow up with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay informed about industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve our services and customer experience.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful sales or business development in the biotech or life sciences industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently for field visits and customer meetings.
  • Familiarity and experience working with CRMs (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of next-generation sequencing technologies and applications.
