Join us on our journey, build your success, and grow your career!   YOUR ROLE: Kion is looking for a Commercial Channel Manager to be a force multiplier for our commercial sales team. The Commercial Channel Manager will contribute to the sales territory's success by attracting and managing our commercial channel partners, service providers, and integrators by helping them to position our innovative multi-cloud solution in this space. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Build positive working relationships with channel partners to maximize product sales within our customer base.
  • Manage existing partners and recruit new partners for sales growth.
  • Coordinate with partners to identify key sales opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Enable product training to partners and inform them about complementary services they can provide.
  • Resolve partner-related issues and sales conflicts in a timely fashion.
  • Develop partner-specific sales and marketing plans to increase marketing and selling efforts.
  • Manage daily sales activities with partners to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Assist in product placement and promotional activities to increase sales.
  • Coordinate with partners to develop joint business plans that align with business objectives.
  • Perform business reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Manage sales activities and maintain sales records and reports.
  • Manage current commercial programs with cloud service providers and help bring on new ones.

  WHAT WE ARE EXPECTING FROM YOU (I.E., THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE):

  • Vast knowledge and experience in the cloud enablement, cloud governance, or cloud management industry.
  • Experience with commercial SIs, resellers, and service providers in the US.
  • Collaborative selling experience, preferably in Enterprise IT.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to take ownership of the partner ecosystem in the territory.

  • Experience at a startup software company or history of opening new partner sales territories.
  • Current technical capability knowledge of competition in our space, cloud enablement.
